Eat goodies rather than your words with a gripe bowl!

This week a co-worker and I figured out a way to deal with in-house clients that drive us bonkers. We created a ‘gripe bowl’ (using a fish blow). When we sense a rant coming on, we first drop some coin (or a buck) into the bowl. It makes us think a moment, before complaining. And, when the bowl count reaches 20 bucks, off to Trader Joes we go for some healthy snacks. I’d rather eat some goodies than my words (for lacking the skill in educating a client about the creative process).
